Airbus will stop producing the largest A380 serial passenger aircraft

Airbus will no longer manufacture the largest commercial airliners in the world of the A380.

The company’s website states that this is due to the decrease in demand for these aircraft by Emirates, which is the largest customer of the A380. According to an updated contract, Airbus will ship 123 A380 instead of the planned 162.

The last 14 Emirates airlines will receive in the next two years. In 2021, Airbus will stop their production.

Emirates also decided to buy more Airbus new generation: 40 A330-900 and 30 A350-900.
