Czech tennis player Barbora Kreychikova (30th racket of the world) defeated four tennis players from the top 10 of the WTA world ranking at the WTA-1000 category tournament in Dubai (UAE), victorious for herself.

Second round: Barbora Kreychikova – Daria Kasatkina (eighth racket of the world) – 6:4, 4:6, 7:5.
Quarterfinal: Barbora Kreychikova – Arina Sobolenko (second racket of the world) – 0:6, 7:6 (7:2), 6:1.
Semifinal: Barbora Kreychikova – Jessica Pegula (3rd racket of the world) – 6:1, 5:7, 6:0.
Final: Barbora Kreychikova – Iga Sviontek (first racket of the world) – 6:4, 6:2.

She became the fifth tennis player in history who managed to beat all the representatives of the top 3 world rankings in one tournament, after Steffi Graf (Roland Garros 1999), Serena Williams (Miami 2002), Venus Williams (Final 2008) and Arina Sobolenko (Final-2022).

Note that over the previous 24 matches, she beat the same number of tennis players from the top 10 world rankings. For the 27-year-old Kreychikova, this trophy was the sixth in her career (in singles).
