NATO is seeking the liberation of Ukrainian prisoners of war sailors and ships from Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak at NATO headquarters, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
So, according to the minister, this year the North Atlantic Alliance will strengthen its military presence in the Black Sea.
“This year, NATO’s naval presence in the Black Sea will be significantly intensified. Each month, ships of both permanent NATO naval groups and key allies will be called in,” he informed.
Poltorak stressed that NATO “strictly demands from Russia to release our captured sailors and ships.”
