21-time Grand Slam champion, former world No. 1 Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic commented on his victory in the third round match of the Australian Open – 2023 with Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov. The meeting ended with a score of 7:6 (9:7), 6:3, 6:4 in favor of Djokovic.

“35 years is the new 25! Every draw was important – from the very first. The early break was very important because I didn’t know how I would feel physically. There were problems from time to time.

I thought that a double break in the third set was enough for me, but it turned on and until the last blow I did not know if I could win. It was an incredible fight – three sets in over three hours,” Djokovic said in an on-court interview.
